To the very few who have ever read this blog, this will be the last post on Blogger. I have a new blog location that will be linked below. The new blog already has some updated versions of posts here, and may have a couple more. I believe that the purpose for this new blog may just be updates into my service of others and the things God does with me around. I guess we'll see what happens. : )

This is crazy....
Again, its been quite a long time since the last post and a lot has been happening. Through the grace of God people have seemingly been thrown into my life to push me toward goals and more specifically, ministries.

Whats new?
Well, its been an interesting few months since I've got back in December from my time in Missouri. The time there was an incredible experience to say the least. But the time I've been back could be equally amazing. I may have learned as much from my time back home as I did in Missouri. I've been growing in the Spirit like I never thought was possible with a Southern Baptist background. Although I've very grateful for that, I love that the Spirit has lead me and not just the voice of men that many people stay stuck on.

Healing
*Warning - This page contains beliefs and truths that can and do offend many people. This is a very touchy subject and it is not my intention to offend anyone. Please study the scripture on you own and always look at the context of whats going on in scripture. And pray for God to show you truth always in whats said.
*THESE ARE NOTES. Not everything may be clearly spelled out for everyone who reads. or anyone. So feel completely free to ask any questions. Simple or complex. : )

The Holy Spirit
2/3-4/12
*Quick note, i've been writing so many notes in a whirlwind amount of time that i decided to post it now. I'm going through quite a revival of spirit, renewal of spirit, rekindled fire. Whatever you like to call it. : )

Previous (and very old) Notes
*The last notes actually written down before the last couple of days. Do not take these notes to reflect my current beliefs. Check contexts of all verses to see if they actually were intended to mean what notes say.
2/7/10 *Quite a long time ago.
Romans 10:9 - "9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
New Blog Purpose
So its been quite a while since I've posted anything on my blog. And to be honest I didn't think I'd use it again. I just haven't had any inspiration to write on any topics. For a while I thought about going to vlogging but again no topics. But recently I've found new reason for this blog. From now on I will post all the notes I gather throughout my week each week on God. So new posts should be up each Saturday on various topics on the character/nature or God and other biblical things. This will help me keep record of my own notes as well as, and is my hope to, encourage other Christians in their relationship with God as well. So with that, Grace and Peace to everyone who follows these blogs from here out. My first post in this series of notes should be posted soon after this one. : )
Note: When reading future posts, please remember to read the context of verses shown as i probably wont explain in the notes what is going on. They are my personal notes and I will typically only provide the verse standalone. All verses will be HCSV unless otherwise stated. Context Is Important!

God and Military Service
For the longest time, Christians in the military confused me. I always wondered why they would choose military service when one of the 10 commandments is do not murder. Simply put, there is a difference between murder and killing your enemy while in the military. It really comes down to why your country is fighting. There are many examples in the bible where God tell his people to conquer and destroy other nations. How king David came to power. How the Israelites were supposed to get their promised land. etc.

The American Dream...
So I've been reading this book called Radical by David Platt, and its inspired this new subject of the American Dream.
The American Dream as of James Truslow Adams - "a dream...in which each man and each woman shall be able to attain to the stature of which they are innately capable, and be recognized by others for what they are."

We gotta do WHAT to have a testimony?!
So... some people, if they admit it or not, have this absurd idea that in order to have a good testimony, you have to go through some crazy junk. I have to say now that this is NOT truth. You don't have to be a dealer, smoke pot, be a prostitute, or have a near death experience to have a "good" testimony. (Or to be saved just to make that clear.) It is true, however, that God uses people from those situations a lot. God uses prostitutes I think multiple times throughout the bible. Paul was a murderer and hunter of Christians before he became one himself. So yes, it is common for people with "bad" or "questionable" backgrounds to become Christians and have and interesting testimony for many. But for the people with average lives, the ones who have always been the goody goody... Your testimony is Just as Powerful as the others!
