We gotta do WHAT to have a testimony?!

                         So... some people, if they admit it or not, have this absurd idea that in order to have a good testimony, you have to go through some crazy junk. I have to say now that this is NOT truth. You don't have to be a dealer, smoke pot, be a prostitute, or have a near death experience to have a "good" testimony. (Or to be saved just to make that clear.) It is true, however, that God uses people from those situations a lot. God uses prostitutes I think multiple times throughout the bible. Paul was a murderer and hunter of Christians before he became one himself. So yes, it is common for people with "bad" or "questionable" backgrounds to become Christians and have and interesting testimony for many. But for the people with average lives, the ones who have always been the goody goody... Your testimony is Just as Powerful as the others!

                     There are many people who can hear how you came to know our Lord and will be touched so much more so than the guy who went through it all! Because God works in weird ways to us. And also because, people who hear that message of "I was in it all" can easily say to themselves "there's another weak person looking to "God" when it was only him/her self". But what happens when a "normal" or "good" person steps up and  tells people they had a good life. That they never got into any real trouble. They never had family problems or self-image issues. What happens when that person tells their testimony and and it turns out that even they have been radically changed? Well, I'll tell you. God works, moves, flows, comes in da room! lol  He just do what He do!
                      Thats right! Every true Christian's testimony can be just as powerful if you step out in faithfulness and use what God has given you! Just because you haven't been through some of the crazy junk other people have, you are blessed to have been saved from that junk! Cuz honestly, you really don't want to go through it all anyway. It sucks. Be thankful that God spared you from that horrible path that would have given you the "good" testimony. : )
